Why Science & Samosa ?

Science and samosa

“Science is complex, I hate science especially mathematics”, majority of us fall in this group. At least once in lifetime you would have made this statement. But then we all enjoy the fruits of science.  We love using the internet, driving cars, watching television, going in an airplane and so on. So if the fruits of science is so good, its seeds cannot be that bad. We do so many science experiments daily like making dough, baking cakes, wine making, taking pills and many more. We keep reading on topics related to best solution for hair growth, best way to lose weight, manage your ‘x-disease’ doing this etc without knowing what’s the science behind it or how does it actually works.

Interesting facts- The average person, with an average pace, living until 80 years old, will walk the distance of about 110,000 miles. This will match up to walking around the earth 5 TIMES !!!

If we remember when we were young we were curious and wanted to try out and understand how things worked. But as we grew syllabus got more priority and exams killed our curiosity. This generation kids, though equipped with virtual and interactive learning system, are also struggling with science related subjects. We the people behind ‘science & samosa’ want to rekindle your love affair with science and reignite the curiosity in you.

Interesting facts – The most dangerous animal in the world is the common housefly!!. Because of their habits of visiting animal waste, they transmit more diseases than any other animal

We are making an effort to explain to you through simple words how and why things happen around you, whether it’s making something in kitchen or using some appliances or having some drugs.

Our aim is to reach out to kids, college goers, moms(best teachers), working people, technoguys, scientists and many more.

We want to build this platform into an interactive space where the ‘world of science’ and ‘not science’ can exchange thoughts, ideas and learn new things without any inhibitions.

We are kicking off this exercise initially through blogs and want to expand to meet ups, contests, learning classes, webinars and many more as it unfolds. We are coming to you with our facts, thoughts and fun points this January 2017. Looking forward to a fun filled, science journey.
