3. Witch Hazel
Witch hazel help reduce swelling, irritation, injury, bleeding and inflammation. Make sure you buy alcohol free organic witch hazel.
4. Additional Herb oil
You can also include rosemary, thyme, eucalyptus oil etc, if you wish
5. A Spray Bottle
To spray all these ingredients onto the pads. This will prevent the pad from getting too much wet
6. Zip pouch/bags
To store them in freezer
How to make Padsicles
Take a big glass bowl and add all ingredients like witch hazel, aloe vera, and rosemary etc
Mix it well and pour it into the spray bottle
Open and spread the sanitary pad on a clean surface
Spray the liquid on the entire pad (The pad should not be too wet)
Fold and keep the bag back in its original wrapper
Put all of them in a freezer-safe bag and put it in the freezer
How to use a Padsicle?
Use them in the same way as you use a regular sanitary pad. You can place the padsicle inside an adult diaper to manage heavy flow during initial days. Remember to change your padsicle at least every four hours.
